I had the same sort of problem with powergen, sporadic changes in billing even tho the usage didnt vary that much i ended up switching over to british gas for both electricity and gas, they slung me 2 new meters in, there rate per unit was much lower and now it costs me no more than 10 for gas 10 for electric every 2 week period (also in a 2bed terraced) if going for meters make sure they dont have a standing charge powergen did have for there meters, about 1.20 per week for each meter doesnt sound like alot but over a period of 1-5 years its alot to pay for nothing,

Alternativly just phone them and say other companies are offering you better rates for ur units of gas/electric and ur considering switching ur supplier that usually does the trick

they cant do that ,phone them and say what the fuck we dont have an agreement to do that refund my money back yo hoes etc they did it to me they are in the wrong call them !!!
