Nanny Nanny Boo Boo!!
Listening to Le Tigre, what an awesome group.
Well, here we go again. I was an sg member a couple of years ago, but then I ran into some financial woes when I first moved to hong kong, so, I had to cut off ye ol sg from my credit card.
Now however, I still have a load of debt (oh well) but I just don't care. I signed up last night, admittedly a bit drunk, for three months of sg fun.
I was deported from hong kong this past december, so I've been living at home for the past five weeks now and just started working at the Slainte, an irish pub downtown. Working in a pub is such a massively welcome break from teaching kids.
My back was steadily getting destroyed from picking up kids and sitting at tiny tables all the time, and now after a month off it's strength is now being tested again by bearing the weight of moving kegs.
It's good to be home actually. No matter how much I like living on my own, there's just nothing that compares to my mum's awesome food. Plus, my folks are leaving canada in a year to move back to ireland, so I figure I may as well enjoy staying at home whilst I still have one.
It's going to be strange not to have a home to come back to.
Well I'm off to the kitchen. It's a lovely canadian evening and I'm going to spend it with a darling of an old friend.
cheers
