gingerbread

although i owe both the portland and seattle public libraries quite a bit of money, one of the advantages of living with my mom is that i get to use her library card--so fucking rad! i was surprised yesterday to find that i had a hold on the new david sedaris book, "when you are engulfed in flames" (last time i checked, i was # 217 on the hold list). it's good to read something i relate to so much that is written by someone who is so opposite of me in so many ways. and it's good to a have a distraction--still no job. still no word on if i passed my drug test. still all this bullshit limbo. it really sucks, but distractions are good. so yup, i recommend the new book, even for all the cynics who think everyone tarnishes with age.
