moving is hell. i keep reminding myself that anything said 10 days prior to, or following a move, is not admissable in divorce court.
31 years ago today, i married mark. he wore blue jeans and a paisley shirt, i wore a dress i made myself from unbleached muslin.
for the reception, we ordered in a shitload of cuban sandwiches from whaley's market, had chips and scotch punch.
my ex-boyfriend's mother bought my wedding cake for me!
for our honeymoon, we stopped at the comic book store on the way home and bought felix the cat and other underground comic books, put on our cutoffs and layed around listening to our wedding gift albums - Country Joe and the Fish Live and Bob Weir Ace, while smoked the last lid of pot we would ever have - four fingers of african gungee from my best friend.
(we made a pledge when we got married that we would not get arrested. back then, pot was a felony)
then we took a shot at the calendar mark's brother gave us - 101 sexual positions. i think that was when mark threw his back out the first time. lol!
