So I woke up late this morning to discover my son has been up for quite a while doing art projects. There was little bits of colored paper everywhere. He had brought some of his construction paper downstairs and decided to make a person. With bits of paper and a stapler. I have no idea if he's even ever used a stapler before. It was bit unerving because apparently he couldn't find his scisors, so he got a chair and got our sharp fiskas which were in the drain board by the sink. And went in my office and climed on my desk to get my stapler.

So there he was, for god knows how long cutting up construction paper. Into little pieces. Roughly body part shaped pieces. And stapling them together. Quitely. For an hour or longer. He's not quite five yet.. I think I might be in DEEP shit! lol

The plus side is that he used his own paper and not some bills or some such (which has happened in the past). But really stuned me. When he showed his his handywork, damn if it didn't look like a person. All blue and like frankentstein with 100 staples, but a person!

Damn he's cool! And already better at art than I am!
