Art Alexakis came to the Hard Rock last week.
I bought a "VIP" ticket which entitled me to a "meet and greet."
The show was literally amazing.
So much storytelling.
Sang some wonderful songs...explained their origin/meaning.
He remembered meeting me in the Chicago airport 8 months earlier.
I handed him a large manila envelope with two pages from my typewriter with 15 questions for a potential interview...had to throw in a self-address stamped envelope as well.
He said he would definitely answer the questions and send them back to me.
I believe him.
Before I left, Art asked me for a hug goodbye.
I think his "mega fans" that were sitting on my left almost had heart failure.
Get ready everybody. The first issue of Hussy Magazine is the closest it has ever been to being complete. Long road...huge payoff. So excited. Plus you will get to see the fabulous designing skills of the lovely Monroe.

I'm seeing Amon Amarth, Goatwhore and SKELETONWITCH in Pittsburgh Thursday night and spending the rest of the weekend in Athens, OH for For Real Fest! I gotta come home Sunday! Effff. That does sound like fun thought. DAMN IT!!!!!
