HI!!!

So I hope everyone has noticed how much I really am trying to keep up with my SG account. I really am!
However, I was kicked out of the PSW group I suppse because of my lack of attnedence. So Ill try and get that back.

whats new.... hmmm...

Wel yesterday was fathers day and It kinda sucked for me because I didnt get to see my dad. My dad has been quite ill for years. I suppose Ill share the story since most of you will listen lol are quite understanding. My mother and father split up pretty much when I was born but stayed in the same house for 10 years or more. My dad that I can recall did nothing but mope around and yell at everything. After all that time of my mother being the bread winner she told him to leave. He was jobless and floated around between living at my aunts house and with my cousins. Eventually he was just a burden on them to and they also kicked him out. For about a year or two my dad was homeless. Living in a car behind a shady motel in the ghetto. My mother would bring him food but I had no idea of any of this until one day my mom went to bring him food and noticed something wasnt right. She brought him to the hospital and he had had a stroke. He was also clinnically very depressed. My dad had electroconvulsive therapy which is where a electric shock is used to induce seizures for therapeutic effects on major depression cases that dont respond to any other form of treatment.
He was admitted into a long term care facility when I had found out that he had been homeless. Not something that made me feel very good at all.
Anyways, over the last ten years my dad has had 21 strokes. He is still verbal, still menatally there but his motor skills are very disrupted. Everything he does is just slower.
He had been living in a home for years about 3 hours away from me, eventually my mom decided that she could take care of him and he could be closer to my brother and I. My mother took care of him for a few years before he developed pulmonary edema and heart disease. He was hospitalized and was just released after 3 months. It was deceided that he needed 24hr care and he was sent to another long term care facility.
This was last week. I spoke to him yesterday briefly and he told me he is so lonley and he hates it where he is. He wants to go back to the hospital. It hurts my heart like you have no idea. Its not even easy for me to visit him. His home is not near me. Unfortunalty, when disability pension pays for your living expenses you have no choice as to where that is. Just the sound of his voice scares me that hell fall into depression again. it makes me so sad. My poor pops. *sigh*

So thats that.

And now for some not so depressing stuff.
There is a G20 summit going on in Toronto. I dont really know/care what it is, but I do know that Toronto is going all end-of-the-world like and its so gay. Theres huge barriers cordoning off areas of toronto and they are performing random subway bombs checks. They are going to randomly stop trains and search everyone for bombs. This is most likily happen to me numerous times and make me late for work. Great.

they have removed all garbage cans in the area in fears protesters will throw them

they have "sound cannons" that emit a sound so peircing it hurts to defer protesters as well.
I think this is so ridiculous. This retarted summit is basically shutting down Toronto for 2 days. Businesses in the area are forced to close and major roads will be out of service. I think its ridiculous.

*sigh* I lied about the depressing stuff haha

Well I cant think of anything else to say really so Ill leave you with this picture. That I love. Minus my knees. lol
