oh mannn, weather is sooo nice here in Toronto! gives me a summer boner.
I havent been participating in SG much at all, dunno why, just busy I s'pose.
Quick updates on life:
JOB
So if you didnt know I started a new job a few months ago. Its pretty rad. Its alot of work but Im diggin it. My title is Ophthalmic Assistant. Ultimately Im a nurse for eyes lol. Ive been doing mostly preliminary examinations but Im starting to get into the minor surgeries and thing lately and trying to get my stomach in check. Im so squeemish and getting to hold a clamp on someones eye whilst the doc scaples the eyelids open is slowly getting less horrendous. Also the "blood blotting" of my BOTOX and Juvederm duties is just dandy lol.
My boss thinks im king shit. He enrolled me in the Ophthalmic Assitant course so by June I shall be a certified OA worrrrrrrd. Hes paying for it and told me Im getting a big fat raise at the end of it. He mentioned an outrageous number which I dont know if he was kidding but Ill wait until I see it to get excited over it. All I know is the other assistant who is strictly assistant is making $25/hr and I can do her job, admin and tech testing so this outrageous amount he is offering might not be a joke...
SCHOOL
Mid term Friday and im shitting bricks. Eye anatomy, physioology, microbiology and pharmacology FUUUUUUUUUUUCK.
RELATIONSHIPS
Me and the boy are doing really good lately. My trust is finally coming back and I think we are overall not ripping balls as often.
My friend Sarah just got back from a random 5 week trip to Thailand and the Phillipines. She had an awesome time and Im happy she didnt get killed lol. Shes a brave chicky man, just decided she wanted to go and fucked off the next week by herself with no plans on where she was sleeping/eating etc. Crazy bastard.
