Argh.
What a frustrating 2 days!!!
Still unemployed and I've been doiong everything in my power to make some extra money.
Yesterday I went to a job interview for some holiday help only. I figured a few extra bucks wont hurt. So I travelled by bus almost 2 hours to the very end of my cities transportation system to this physiotherapy clinic. Well I was thinking because its only a few days, and its over the holidays they would probably pay fairly well. Well No. Minimum wage. Ok, I have not made minium wage since Tim Hortons when I was 14. Ten Years ago. And not just that I am not travelling 4 hours a day for minimum wage. So disappointed and frankly a lil annoyed that I went all that way for nothing ( and spent money on buses) I headed home. Only thing, was I couldnt find the bus stop going the opposite direction home! I walked ten minutes up one street and decided to head back down the other way. Now, its -2C and Im walking down the side of the road ( I just happened to be on the edge of the city so it was pretty much farmland) and walked for 40 mins!! NO FUCKING BUS STOPS! I was so mad and kicking dirt up and shit , talking to myself hahaha I must of looked hilarious. I decided to call the bus help line and found out that where I got off the bus is where I catch the home bound bus as well because it does a loop. How pissed was I? I was fucking around for this interview from 1:30pm till 5: 30pm. UGH
Then I had Weight Watchers. I was pretty sure I gained weight this week because I went to a Xmas party that I didnt hold back the least and then went out drinking. I had 13 drinks. Each shot is 2 points. Thats 26 points. Thats the entire amount of points im alloted in a day haha. I definitly fucked up. Plus its that happy monthly time. So ya. Was pretty comfidant I gained weight.

I actually lost another 3.2 lbs. Which is really odd because I lost exactly 3.2 lbs last week lol
So in 2 weeks - both weeks fucking up pretty hard and going to McDonalds, drinking etc etc. I lost 6.4 lbs. Not too bad I guess.
And so then today I have another interview. This one is a 2 buses and a subway ride from where I live but I figure its not that bad. Except I wake up to the first snow snorm of the season accompanied but 3 inches of slush and rain! Walking out of the parking lot and my feet were already soaked. Got to my bus stop , realizing I had no change for the bus. Had to walk to the store to get that, Then back to the bus stop and stand waiting for 25 mins watching 3 not in service buses pass by. I called the interview to tell them I'd be late and the receptionist had no idea I was going in and that the Doctor wasnt in till 2pm. She didnt know how to get in touch with her. ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
I was was like fuck it im not going all the way there to find out that possibly there was no interview so I went home, got into my pj's to relax and then my phone rings. Its the doctor I was supposed to be meeting and she remembered the interview just forgot to tell the receptionist. She sounded a little disappointed that I was trying to cancel so I told her I could still make it but not for 11am as scheduled. She said 1pm was fine. So I got back into my wet clothes, boots and coat and trekked back out to this interview. Had the interview and found out its for $12/hr. Seriously?Like this is all very discouraging for me. I made $16/hr at my past job and even that was only covering bills. I am starting to get very irritated by this job hunting biz haha
Oh well. Ill just laugh at myself and move on.
*sigh*
well that was a good rant. I feel much better now hahaha.

I definitely had similar troubles trying to find a job.. I got to a point where I was afraid I was going to get arrested for harrassment with my follow up calls. Also, weirdness of weirdness... ScarJo and I had piercings changed by the same person. Heh.
