Today is Saturday.
I like Saturday.
Tonight is my bf's Christmas party at work and I get to meet all his homies, this is a little nerve wrecking but exciting. In relief of what has been going on in my life, luckily my bf was hired on full time at his company. Which means more money. I am very happy for him and its nice to see him so relieved.
As for me, Its been a week and 2 days of unemployment and where Im beling told to enjoy it, I cant. Im miserable and I feel worthless. I feel like my ass is growng by the minute and that I should be out doing something.
A good friend of mine showed me this this morning and Im taking it very seriously. Luckily here in Canada, the government will in fact pay for my schooling if I've been laid off ( which thanks to an awesome bookkeeper at my previous employer, it appears I am ) I can collect some unemployment insurance and go back to school. This might be just what I need. I need to feel like I have options. right now I dont. And im terrified of running out of money and having to take a $5/hr deduction and work somewhere like Tim Hortons ( not that theres anything wrong with that but it would be a big pay decrease from what IM used to)
On a happier note,
Im going karaoking with my mum and an old lady that I used to work with haha Im mad excited.
My mother is the baddest chick around. Imagine bold British woman who loves to dance and sing and talks to everyone. Who has karaoke props! She is so eccentric and I love her for it! This is going to be such a funny night and I WILL be taking pictures Cant wait to show you!
