Today was our sendoff ceremony....big event. My unit, along with another thats going to Iraq, sat on the floor of the TD Garden while we heard speeches from a bunch of people...Governor Patrick, Sen. Kirk, one of the US Reps from the state, the TAG (i know its not proper grammar but its his title), and all the unit commanders. The speeches were nice, and things went pretty smooth. Should be on the news tonight.

Did the normal picture bullshit with the family afterwards, as I avoided the news cameras. We finally leave the state in 3 days...the timetables been moved up so I'm not totally sure how and when things are going to happen. The best way to get in touch with me after Wednesday would be either through text message (for those of you who have my number) or an email. I'm still collecting snail mail addresses for once i get overseas. When i know my APO address I'll try to post it here or on Facebook, and hopefully people can post it other places.

I'm really nervous about everything....its down to the wire. I'm all packed...just a few minor items that need to be completed before we leave.

If I don't get a chance to post again before I leave, I'm going to miss you all. All my friends that I've made here, all fun I've had. When I do come home I hope that I can pick things up right where they left. Thank you all for everything over the past 2 years.

I'll be making sure my account stays active while I'm away in case some of you want to post something, or send me a message(no promises ill be able to get them), or if I have a chance to get online and say hi to everyone.
