I thought that winter break would be better than this...all my friends are working, I have almost no money and my little sisters are annoying the shit out of me. All there is to do is surf the net, watch tv, and go to the gym. I had another big arguement with my dad, no surprise there. He seems to think that he still controls my life, and won't let me go back to his house to get my stuff that he's held hostage since i moved out 5 years ago. And as if things couldnt get worse, my best friend, who just got back from basic and AIT in November is getting deployed to Afghanistan in February. The only good thing about break was meeting Jamie. Finally, I meet a girl that im not completely nervous around, and who appreciates the fact that im a shy guy. I only hope we can make the long distance thing work. Lets just say a lot of miles have been put on my car in the last few weeks. Oh yeah, its 2008. I should probably tell everyone my new years resolutions. You've got the usual ones (lose weight, get better grades, do more PT) and then my own personal resolutions: chill out, be a better friend, and don't fuck things up with Jamie. I'm hoping that I can keep at least some of those, but at least i have some set goals this year. Happy New Years everyone.
