up in the bay area.

last night i hung out with a friend that i haven't seen since freshman year of high school. he was my first boyfriend ever.

we found each other on myspace.
(yes, you can totally laugh at me)

we went and hung out at a little dive bar that was, well, really cool.

i didn't know marin could have cool things.
but it can and indeed does.
all of these people are settled here, people i know and don't.
they aren't scared or freaked out or bored by it.
i can see why it is a great place to be... but i need more.
i can't end up here.

i want to end up someplace exotic. like.. india. or japan. or.. la. just not.. NOT.. marin.

anyway.. i got nice and drunk, lots of reminising about random shit and i got hit on by the polish bartender (accent and all).

oh marin.

and today, i slept. and slept. magical.

my mom and i went out to dinner at the cheesecake factory. i ran into one of my best friend from high school's other best friend.
she is so marin.
all gorgeous and put together.
perfect make up. perfect clothes.
bebe and clinque.
highlights and tanning salon.


i have to get out of here.
