i voted.
not that... it..... mattered. but i am a nice little part of a very large number. and that makes me feel special.
while i am a little terrified about how this election will turn out, i am not too scared. there is time for a change. i am talking about a huge change of goals, of truths of the direction we as a world are heading towards.
we focus on money, riches and bitches. i can only hope that that changes. that perhaps goals will again return to knowledge as power. or at least not focusing the power of the world on some assholes with guns and nukes.
i can dream.
i can imagine that wars are fought playing rock, paper, scissors. i can imagine that we could actually get along perhaps. no.. that is too much. at least, try to open our minds to people who disagree with our point of view, who have different cultures than us, who are not us.
instead of noting the differences, let's notice how much we have in common. we want our families. no matter how different to thrive and to live in peace and hopefully joy. let's notice how all our religions are based on love, yes.. i said religions... based on love. why don't we focus on that. i imagine that we can focus on that. focus on learnign about each other. listening. not waiting for our turn to speak.
thusly... in the spirit of this... i want to commend everyone for voting, or for having their own opinions. good for you. i hope they are informed, wise decisions with other people in mind. not just your families... but all the families in this country and all the families our regime effects.
i apologize for making fun of bush. it's just very easy. and i hope that you republicans can try and forgive me and my silliness and respect my point of view. i will try and respect your decision. and i will respect you.
this was rambling. and the whiskey helped.
but i can dream. even if they are ridiculously sublime.

you should apologize for nothing.
