Damn, the flu sucks. If you haven't done so already, I would highly recommend getting a flu shot immediately.
I've been too sick/weak to leave the apartment for more than a few minutes at a time since Tuesday night. And I'm about as sick of these four walls as I am of the flu itself...
...and as if to add insult to injury, the cooling system on this computer has gone on the fritz. It'll run just fine until it reaches some predetermined temperature, and then shut itself down without warning to cool off. It's very annoying...and has put severe limitations on one of the few links to the outside world I have left.
There's only so much more reading and/or TV watching I can take...somebody help me!

In unrelated news, right now I'm trying my darnedest to come up with reasons not to go to the Ukraine. Why not, you may be asking yourself. Well, it's because, if I go there, there's no way in hell that I'd come back single. See, my inexplicable hot streak on anastasiaweb.com continues. The count currently stands at three Russians, one Belarussian (what do you call someone from Belarus, anyways?)...and an astounding 46 Ukrainian women wanting to meet me. No, I can't explain it either. I mean, I was honest about being a broke 26-year-old college student. I know things suck in the Ukraine right now, and most of them are probably only interested in me for my citizenship, but damn, even I'm beginning to wonder if there may be more to it than that. Talk about an ego boost...I need to find a job soon so I can afford to vacation in Dnepropetrovsk this summer.
