Oh, crap.

I FINALLY got the new power supply to my laptop delivered via FedEx this afternoon, and I'm all stoked. I'm finally going to get to talk to my friends again, update my long-neglected journal, take my time checking my e-mail, yadda yadda yadda....

....and my computer just killed another power supply dead. How is this possible? I saw it happen, too. The screen just turned darker (shifting into 'power conservation' mode, no doubt) and I look over at the power supply just in time to watch the green light on it blink weakly three final times and then fade to black.

How can you kill a brand new, fresh-out-of-the-box power supply in less than a day? I didn't think it was possible, either...
