Brief update time:

I was in Chicago last weekend for the Greenpeace interview. Yes, I had fun (even though I froze my ass off.) I made some great new friends too. But, alas, I didn't get the job. Another day, another generic "Dear Candidate" rejection letter...so what else is new?

Our Governor is still a douchebag. But at least we got some press coverage with our "Sanfordville" tent city we set up right around the corner from the Governor's Mansion: Check it. Who's that devastatingly handsome guy holding up the "Welcome to Sandfordville" sign?

Went and saw Monsters Vs. Aliens this week. Haven't laughed so hard at a movie in years. If you haven't seen it yet, I highly recommend you do so.

Oh, and I've got another interview in Hickory, NC next Monday. Excuse me for not being overjoyed about this one: it's for a crappy call center job. I wouldn't even bother to show up if I hadn't been unemployed since November. But desperate times call for desperate measures, I guess....
