Still not the most going on to blog about but I may be getting a promotion at work in the near future and i'm sure a decent raise with it... that's exciting too bad I don't have much free time to celebrate it... oh well at least I still have my baby!!!

Still nothing much to talk about... Working too much for not enough but at least I'm working!

Not too much to blog about lately... Been working my ass off! But work is going good. Apparently I'm a very focused worker... Could have fooled me lol... I'll keep you guys up to date if anything worth talking about happens.

How is it that just when you think things are going so well you can feel like everything has been taken out from under you and you have failed more epic than before? I have successfully failed at pretty much the only thing in life that I gave a shit about.

I gave up on trying to fix my laptop but I was able to get everything off it that I wanted. So I just installed Linux on it and I'm going to work with it from there!

So the new job is going great!!! I've been working 7 days a week which is awesome but shitty at the same time. I really could use that first paycheck! I'm the kitchen manager at a cafe/bistro. I really like it but it's certainly not the work or money that I'm used to. But what is more important is that I'm happy with my life...

Fuck you job market!!!

Had a good time at the parents! Back to NJ tomorrow to hang out with my 2 favorite people!

Gonna go see the parents again in a few days. Kind of exciting to see them again so soon... Most I've seen them in a long time. Still no good job prospects. Money is getting tight.... I hate this! I could use a little light at the end of the tunnel here... Not much more to say I'll update soon I'm sure.

So..... My boss calls me today and tells me that they had a meeting last night and decided to cut all paid staff on the weekends..... Funny thing is I only had weekend shifts for the next month and a half..... FML

So the movie "Secretary" is my new favorite movie for the time being.... And the thirty minutes after it weren't too bad either!

Took an awesome trip to Central Park today with my two favorite people! Stopped at Maoz on the way home for some yummy falafel too! Great day to be Brett!!!!
