Nearly a year since the last entry so I'm strangely drawn towards making another. Maybe this will become a habit..

Journal entries, that is. Not waiting a year for another one.

Anyhow, I went to a fantastic screening at the Egyptian theatre in Hollywood tonight. They played clips from some of the Disney True-life Adventures nature films, interspersed with a panel discussion that included ROY DISNEY. I used to watch these on the Disney Channel when I was a kid, so it was cool to see how well they've aged. And I'm still giddy about having gotten to listen to Roy Disney. That man has done an incredible amount of work for animation and has really fought to keep the greed from killing off the artists at Disney over the last few years (despite the greed really trying). Looks like more projects like True-Life Adventures will be brought out of the old vaults and kept from disappearing forever. And I for one, am very thankful.

Now if we could just get him to turn his mojo into helping Richard Williams get a director's cut of Thief and the Cobbler produced...
