Well, just read some PLato for Art Criticism class. Just a tad drained from that. I've been shooting alot more than reading and writing, no complaints here, therefore I'm a little rusty in reading fast again. It took me two hours to read 30 pages..Well, I was avidly reading, so no one is mistaking me for someone that's uneducated. Reading between the lines, making notes, underling great points, ect. ect. I love it and miss doing that but there's no time to. I need to shoot, develop and print like a mad woman!
Wish list: more time and having an assistant.
I'm dying to hit the gym again. dying. There's just no time right now. I have 5 classes and this school is no joke. They give overloads of homework that needs to be meticulously handled and analyzed. Still not complaining about that...I love reading into what I'm involved in and digging deeper into its meaning, even living in its meaning but THERE'S NO TIME!
Well, I make time and try my very best at getting things done at an orderly fashion. That I'm succeeding in so far. Let's hope nothing pulls me back now. Hoping.
On another note: I need a chair for my desk, gigantic corkboard for working prints, LCD wipes, and a web portfolio. I'm in the process, in Digital Photography Workshop, of making postcards. That's one way of getting myself out there. I really want to get a bangin website display of my work. That's a winter vacation to-do...I'll be dragging my laptop everywhere working on some web layouts...That should be fun...Now for a web concept.
This doesn't mean that I'm a web expert and will do this for a living. I'm good at it but not great. Don't try to hire me for that sorta stuff. I know better people out there. I shoot, process and print. Now that's my thing.
Once I'm done working on my postcards I'l post them up!
I miss Jersey but I do lovePhilly. I'm a Jersey gal at heart.
My typology critique went well. My work recieved positive feedback and just positive. A+ for me! I do need to work out my postcard layoutsr. I'm getting there..In two weeks the postcards are going to press. Need to think more about that.
Tomorrow I get to shoot the lovely and talented videographer Ms. Emily Iacono. She a fabulous model. She responds well to the camera, takes directions well, and sits patiently still as I work. I love that girl! That work will certainly be posted as well. I can't wait to shoot her! It's large format, too!
Anyway, I have class in 9 minutes.
