saturday woke up about 8 am, downloaded about 40 songs, left house shortly after that. did some shopping for the wedding gifts, got them did other errands that needed to get done. got dressed ofr the wedding and left. grabbed lunch at wendy's. wedding lasted about 15 minutes [they played "take me out to the ballgame"]. went to reception, drank about 6 jack/cokes and 5 or 7 FREE beers. got home baout 11 pm.
sunday Abe abd I left for renfest about 7:30, got to Meg's and she didnt want to go because she lost her wallet. borrowed he money to go and left to pick up Stephanie. picked her up about 8:30. got to renfest just in time for cannon fire. while waiting in line Meg's traded Stephanie for a brochure and some random guy [dressed for the fest] escorted her to the gates. we got up there about 10 minutes later only to discover Meg's lost her free ticket, she went in search of it and met us inside.
we walked around quite a bit looking at several things, Abe and I have been there alot so we have seen most of the stuff there. so it was mostly for the ladies ;-). Megs tried on some clothes and look good in them. saw a couple of shows. a couple of times while we were there employees would come up and flirt with Stephanie [mostly some guy who squeaked when he talked]. during a show with people dressed as chickens they singled me out for a light and had me go on stage to light some torches. after which they came over a couple of time and made me put my arm around Stephanie [what a shame, shes cute and I wanted too anyhow ;-)]. walked some more and saw the magical garden, I had never seen it before so it was nice to see something new.
we left about 4pm. and dropped Meg's for dinner with the 'rents. we went back to my place so Abe could take off his kilt. and we went in search of a teeter-totter. to no avail we didnt find on, played at a couple of different playgrounds for a few minutes each and went and got dinner. came back to my place again and waited for Meg's [she left her glasses in my car] her mom had went anf got her wallet from a store she'd been at on saturday. watched some strange vidoe's on national geographic channel and saw a Rabbit attack a few goats, it was crazy like right out of monty pythons search for the holy grail except not blood letting. dropped Stephanie off around 10pm and went home to sleep, seemed like such a long enjoyable weekend and yet I didnt want to go to work today.
