argh! what a long week and weekend it has been. it was slow at work last week and with the cold weather we had (-15) this last weekend it made it seem even longer. I think I have finally lost my ability to cope with going to a Job that doesnt challenge me at all. saturday nite went out for a couple of drinks with my bro, got home around 2 o'clock, then around 5:45 Grandma called Grandpa was having some problems and they were headed up to the hospital.
it turned out that he had some fluid in his lungs, and that in turn was giving him some chest pains. the EMT's gave him a few nitro pills and wisked him away. after an hour and a half he was settled down and looking like a pin cushion. needless to say I didnt sleep well that day, he is 90 and did survive WW2, but damn if I dont want him to be around as long as possible. it may be selfish of me but my Grandparents did have a huge hand in raising me, to me they are more like parents.
Sunday nite I didnt sleep well again I think I was still worried about Him. I had hoped to get out of work today so that I could go back to the hospital and spend more time with Him but my co-worker decided he didnt feel like working today so he went home. fuck this guy annoys the shit out of me, he thinks that hes the best in the store, but the reality is he aint shit. within my company locally hes only average. he tries to demean me alot and tells other people in the surrounding stores that he has to remind me of things all the time. that fact is before I transfered back into this store I ran a successful dept. for 2 years.
the first year I was running it I had a 30% increase in sale and $$ over the previous year, the 2nd year I did 25% over my 30%.what we do is sell auto parts to local repair shops around us. it really not too hard of a job. so after my anniversary date which is about a month and a week away Im going to start hunting for something better. I know I should do it now , but I have earned the 3 weeks of vacation time thats on the books and if I dont stick it out I wont get any of it.
well, I hope this last week went well for all of you. it certainly is looking good for me this week. and my freind Chalko it looks good for him also new Job, his sisters killer is going to finally make his last visit to death row and so forth, and so on....
