And what about All in the Family??? Can a TV show get away in today's politically correct world with such a crass, abrasive bigot like Archie Bunker? Don't get me wrong, I like the show, very amusing. I also understand that Archie is Caroll O'Connor's character, and doesn't reflect on his personal feeling, but damn, that Archie fellow sure can throw around the racist, sexist remarks. Could a show like this ever make prime time in the 21st century? It's definitely no Cosby Show or Family Ties... I don't know... oh well, discuss amongst yourself.....
