It's gotten to the point now where after I take a shower I can't get dry afterwards for about 20 minutes, humidity is a bitch. Cut my hair today, I'm a total opposite of Sampson, the longer my hair gets the slower I feel, and as soon as it comes off I'm new and fast again. There is so much here I have to do,...

you're very sadly mistaken if you believe that the atkins diet is safe...
it's anything but safe.
your body is not made to process flesh, nevertheless excess amounts of it.
animal products such as dairy products are also very hard for your body to digest. they coat the lining of your stomach and consequently block out all the other nutrients you take in; whenever you eat vegetables with dairy, you can forget about the nutrients in the vegetables, because your body is non-receptive to them thanks to the dairy coating.
your body is not made to convert animals and animal products into energy, which is the sole purpose for eating.

i'm a firm believer that veganism is the only safe diet.

Reality is a wave function traveling both backward and forward in time-

John L. Casti

They shut my electricity off a few days ago, I hadn't paid the gas/electric bill in 5 months, cost me $710 to turn it back on. It's been crazy muggy here this week, and it got green while I was away, so I returned to the jungle, crazy cincinnati cops...

awesome... about the gig, that is.
i know how you feel about vinyl..
i buy it constantly. i have maybe like 5 or 6 crates (maybe a half a crate full of stuff that i couldn't play out because of wax damage.) i want MORE. this guy i'm spinning with has some fucking HOT music. even tho i'm not into house music, some of the shit he played, i was totally into. he mixed lots of classics (funk, disco, soul and house) and remixes of classics. and, of course, hip hop.
anyway, he said he has like 8,000 or 80,000 records or some shit. either way... much more than i've got

It's Mom's birthday today. She teaches piano, used to teach music to children, taught french and english to metally challenged teens, and gave up a promising career to raise me and my brothers. I love my mom, but she has real problems, most people say their parents are "crazy", but it's not really true it's just how they themselves may feel, well my mom has...

I've never been proper digging in the states (well i while ago i hit up Miami for booty bass/disco/funk and came home with some gems .. however wish i had the knowledge then i do now). I'm planning on going coast to coast digging sometime next year, just need to get the funds together.

The big heavyweight 45 to come out of Cincinnati was Leroy and the Drivers - Sad Chicken (http://www.funk45.com/rm/leroy_and_the_drivers_-_the_sad_chicken.ram) unfortuntally there were about 500 pressed up and it now commands the big cash (2500 was the last i heard) .. if you ever see it, its on a green big hole label on Duo records get it up on Ebay fast and cop the Stones Throw reissue smile. There a nice local version of Melting Pot (the Kool and the Gang jam) by a band thats confusingly called Melting Pot on Ampex records. Sorry i get caught up in this geek stuff, what kinda music do you spin?

You should lay them down and start putting out bootlegs smile All the rage at the mo, check out the Gamm record label for some crazy re-interpretations of Love Supreme (among others). I have to say i take a rather more militant approach to mixing, chop/chop Brainfreeze style, when your playing funk from back in the day .. half the time you find they have paid the drummer in coke and he's not even keeping time with himself .. however it's those little nuances that make them such special records .. well to me anyway smile.
