If you want an accurate representation of how I feel right now, go listen to Corrosion of Conformity's "Deliverance." I don't know about the lyrical correlation, but the music seems to add up about right.

There are lots of good things going on right now: Good shows coming to town, good books coming out, lots of great bands releasing new albums, the weather in Austin actually appears to be something other than retarded hot, pre-October, so here's hoping it stays chilly. Please, for fuck's sake let me have a good October, for once, in Texas.

So, I don't really know how far to take this whole blog thing on here. How personal do I get? I don't think anyone reads this but me, so, does it matter? I guess, even I'm bored with it.
