Holy crap. I had the time of my life this last week.
Everyone, thank you all so much for the birthday wishes and the congratulation on the engagement.
We went to Niagra for my birthday and it was amazing. I had the entire week off which was great in itself. Thursday we went a saw Paul Oakenfold, partied a little bit and had some fun. Friday, we reluctantly rolled out of bed and started our journey up to Niagra. Got lost on the way, well turned around actually. And got in kinda late.
Rebecca got us the most fantastic room at the Hilton. I mean FUCKING amazing! Twentyseventh floor jacuzzi suite with fallside view. Let me repeat, FUCKING amazing room. French doors opened from the tub to the bedroom. It was the most romantic room I have ever been in.
The next day we went and saw the attractions, had some lunch, and basically be bopped around town.
Incidentally, Denny's must be regarded in a much different light up north. We had a late dinner there when we got in because it was the only thing open. It was as expensive as Wolfgang Puck's across the street....
Anywhoooo. we also went to Niagra on the Lake that evening. Wonderful places to dine. Great wine shops. Very upscale nice place.
We then left for the World Electronic Music Festival 5 and got lost trying to find 10 and ended up going back and forth between Toronto abd who knows where for hours. By the way if you're ever looking for 10 its Huronontario, the only fucking street in Canada without a proper sign! Finally made it, pitched our tent and went and partied our asses off.
Oh yeah, she also got me a badass Diesel watch and an Ipod (Yay! Fuck you, shitty Samsung Mp3 player!). Any one of the things she did for me would have made it my best birthday ever!! But the combination of time together, the affection, the effort she put into planning, surprising me, the room, the party, the awsome presents. I was blown away. I'm still in shock. There is no way I'll ever be able to come close for her.
I love this girl so fucking much it hurts. I have never been close to as happy as I am now. I would do anything for her.

We also went out a nice dinner. Got my tooth finally pulled! Police exam. Went to the doctor. Work. We saw a ship wreck. Our visit up to Pelee island (complete with pictures). The abuse of endangered animals. Just tons of stuff. Stay tuned!

A LMT MRP with a gas piston would be awesome! Any idea if that combination is available at this point? The only MRP barrels I've seen are set up with the usual gas tube.
How about the Robinson Armament XCR Modular Weapon System? It has the rails, quick change barrel, gas piston system, plus a folding stock. All I know about it is what's on their website.
Can't say I know all that much about the G36/XM8. From what little I've seen so far it doesn't look like much of an improvement, if any, over what we already have.
And what is the deal with 'operators' these days? Since when did they stop working for the phone company?
