I understand sometimes bad things happen to good people, but that doesn't make me feel better about it. My Goddess of Light, My Iridescent Angel has lupus. This person, who has never hurt living creature her entire life, may now die. If you dont know what lupus is, think natural aids. Anyone can get it, mostly women of childbearing age. Your body attacks itself for no reason at all. It doesnt kill everyone, some people live with it their whole lives, but there is no cure. So if it decides to attack a vital organ, there is nothing they can do. It kills more people than Aids every year. She started getting the break outs last month, which look more like scabs where you had no wound. Then it can attack your internal organs. She is beginning to notice sharp pains in her joints. Shes 23, has a 3 year old son and is a full time student at University of Colorado Boulder. She already has plenty to deal with, not to mention I live in Texas, so we only get to see each other every couple of months. I promised to raise her son, if should she get sick, and I decided to move there before the fall semester starts. So, this summer I will say goodbye to my friends in Texas, and prepare to move to Boulder. I cant let her get sick. I cant let her light fade. frown

her lite will never fade, even if she does pass. but she is obviously a strong woman to be in school and have a boy and be such a great soul, keep your chin up. i send her many healing vibes and will continue to do so. she has alot going for her.....i know alot of people who have had lupus or a long while and are still with us. its a very brave and loving thing you did volunteering to take her son, its beautifully unselfish and i commend you for that. focus on her love and lite for now, keep it up as much as you can....i wish her nothing but health and a long life with her son. keep us posted sweetie.
