Okay, well, maybe not ever, but dumb shit always goes wrong in my life.

Last night VaJaeJae and I went to NYC for the SGNJ karaoke event.
Wait wait wait. Let me rewind. There was trouble before we even left.
VaJaeJae was feeling tired so she told me she was going to take a nap and set her alarm for 7:30. Okay, fine, no big deal. I had to go home and shower and get ready anyway.
So 7:30 comes and goes and still no VaJaeJae.
So Im calling... and texting... and calling... and texting... nothing, and now it's 8:30. So I strap my shoes on and start driving in the general direction of her house. Pull in her driveway and her car is there. So, I proceed to ring her doorbell obnoxiously until she stumbles to the doorway. Its 8:45, we had to leave by 9 to make it to the event on time.
She looked really really tired so I told her we didnt have to go if she didnt want to. She sucked it up though and we wound up taking the ride into the city.
Oh, heres me looking all sexy n shit.
Did I mention that it's also raining? Okay awesome.
So we reserved a spot at Icon Parking until 2:30am. Go to the bar, sing some karaoke, have a generally good time.
Got to see my pseudo lovers Sharona1881 and NadzOfSteel, and also got to meet TheLibra who agreed to marry me because we both like the Jonas Brothers and Miley Cyrus.
Anyway, moving on.. Gonzoe got really drunk, which is apparently nothing new and right around the time he starting breaking drinking glasses VaJaeJae and I decided it was time to leave.
We catch a cab back to the parking garage only to find out it was locked.
Yep, you read it right. Locked.
Now we have no way to get home. Because my car is in Little Falls and there are no trains or buses that run there after midnight.
Fuck.
So we got a cab to Penn Station, took the train to Newark.
Trains and the people on them just amuse the hell out of me.
Our train conductor was this big Jamaican woman. She was SO MEAN. Like.. so mean.
And the guy in the seat across the aisle from us kept making fun of her. He wore his sunglasses at night.

It just so happened we were able to walk to QXT's where VaJaeJae's friend happened to be.
Added bonus zoomusikgrl and JadeAngel were there. Small world.
Anywho.. I finally got home at 4:30 this morning, only to wake up at 9 to drive VaJaeJae back into the city.. which is my worst fucking nightmare. *Shudders* So we get her car back and the parking dude informs us, hidden behind the parking garage sign is a little bell, and had we rung it, they would have let us in and this whole situation could have been avoided.
Oh well.. at least we know for next time.
