i thought visiting mom in the hospital was hard. as long as the nurses didn't leave vials in the room it wasn't that big a deal, and that only happened once. now she's in a nursing home (for physical therapy, she broke both of her arms and can't feed herself) and that place is fucking depressing. keep your bones strong. don't get me wrong, i'm greatful she has the coverage to go there. i've only missed one day visiting and her brother is still in town so at least she has some company. some of the residents have nobody. it really is sad. in this disposeable society i guess we throw away our loved one's too.

your comment made me smile i wish i could do the same for you what a sad situation... but you are being strong for her and she apreshiates it. just remember to keep it all in perspective, it could be worse and it isnt....take care of yourself.. im here if you need me.
