Booked my flight for the last week of August to the motherland.
Need help in picking out new workout shoes...the NB's have gotten too dirty for the gym. Don't want all the Hances and Frances to think that I am a girly man.
Thinking about my job. Is it something that I really want to do or is a government job better. Think I will stick with my current job for a while.
Watched a special on Mickey Mantle tonight. What a great guy. He always wondered if he could have done better. He was the man! I have even more respect for him now. Always thought that him and Ted Williams were the best. Guess you could count Cal Ripken in there since he is in my top three. My Grandfather (mothers father) looks like Ted Williams and John Wayne.
Thinking of a new hair cut. Been wearing it short for a long time now and I like it still. Then again I am thirty. So was thinking about growing it longer and brushing it back. Kind of like they did it back in the 40's/50's. Not too sure how my customers would respond, but who cares.
This hot, humid weather blows. Well if I didn't have to go in and out of it all day it would be fine.

I'm jealous of the blues festival. My bluegrass is next weekend, thought it was this weekend. I went to the beach this morning, definitely not good for poison ivy. I thought salt water heals all, but not in this case. Looks like I'm staying in tonight and taking pics if I can figure out how to work the camera. Have fun with the blues and dance to a heartfelt downtrodden song for me.
