Got a freakin headache today. Tried to eat it off...no good. Tried to sleep it off....no good. Tried the caffiene approach also......no good. Oh well guess I have to live with it.
The headache was worth the time we all had last night. Bar crawling in old Ellicott City. It is hard to top it anymore. Well as far as laid back talking to people drinking.
On another note....I have now recorded three songs with me on vocals and guitar using soundforge. Thirteen (Johnny Cash not Danzig version), I Want a Love (SCOTS) and I Need a Woman (Bob Dylan). They sound very raw. There are no effects and only one mic. I Just really want to work on timing, rhythm, pitch and getting my voice to a "higher level". I have recorded stuff with my old band back home, but never just me. It has made me realize that I need a new acoustic guitar. That will be in a few months. Thinking about Martin. My old Washburn isn't cutting it anymore.
I would also be interested in finding a female vocal partner. That would really open the amount of songs. There are just some songs that I can't sing because of my vocal range. Female vocal partner or a drummer. Only a part time thing...maybe on a Friday or Saturday night....maybe on Sunday too.
It is great when I go back to home because I have a bass player and a great drummer already there. The only problem is that is a thousand miles away.
Just a thought.
loving,
over and over again it ain't nothing girl,
till you've felt the pain up against the wall,
why does love always have to hurt your scratches run across my back and then a tear
dear lover,
i can't take the pain no more dear lover,
i pick my heart up from the floor dear lover,
i can't believe its come to this dear lover,
give me one last painful kiss there ain't nothin',
in this world for free now so how high of a price will you pay hear the screams so loud,
wake up to the broken glass it's a scene from bad to worse, and many more tears
