Can't believe that I am in here typing a update when the weather is fuckin PERFECT outside. Spent all day outside enjoying it too. Attended my first car show/swap meet of the year. Inspired me to take my 65 Biscayne for a ride tomorrow. Fixed a friends car today for him and cruised around a little at sunset. Going out to see a band somewhere tonight, not really sure where. Just too nice of a night to sit home.
Here is my little rant today. I can understand why people don't like country music......the new "pop-country" stuff that is. When someone says, "hope you don't like that rap and country shit", it makes me want to smack um! I don't get into that much rap, but the right stuff is ok. Country on the other hand is total roots music. If you don't like Hank Williams Sr or even something like him, WHY NOT?? It's not dead dog, drunk, pickup truck and gun rack songs at all. So what is the moral of all this crap? Dig some old country, bluegrass or true honky tonk and get down with it. You will be happy you did.
