I'm not Irish at all, but I sure feel more Irish tonight. Dropkick Murphy's were great tonight. It was a early show at the 9:30 Club and was done at nine. Lot's of bagpipes and hard, loud and Irish rock. There were old songs and new songs. There were two however that stood out the most, Amazing Grace because it was my Grandmothers favorite and Fields of Athenry. Fields of Athenry was slowed down a little and played in honor of a Marine that was killed in Iraq. DKM's was given a copy of his last letter home and in it he told his wife that when he died he wanted Fields of Athenry played at his funereal. So not only was the song played at his funereal, but it was done live by DKM's. They then learned about a fund setup to help the Marines wife and two children. So they cut the ballad version of Fields of Athenry and wrote a new song using exerts from his last letter home.

Had fun with laceyglove, vinyle and mAllenfoto this weekend. We went ALL over the place.

Don't forget the other new cd that might come out someday, Danzig does Air Supply's Greatest Hits. 27, 26, 25, 24, 23, 22, 20....wait a minute! There is no clucking 21.....aww.....cluck.

Work on Monday and court on Tuesday. That speeding ticket a few months ago that officer turd pincher gave me will be shoved up his ass. Got a lawyer just because what he did was WRONG! What a douchebag.
