So I thought yesterday was bad.
Leave it to the restaurant gods to always make it worse.
This is where it gets graphic

After I wrote that entry last night, I jumped into bed and read a little bit. My stomach was really bugging me so I just drank so water and tried to relax it. After reading a little bit I just laid down, but my stomach got worse and worse.
It finally got to the point where they were one of the most discomforting stomach cramps I've ever had.
After of an hour of laying in bed in agonizing pain trying to go to sleep, I'm feeling kind of sick so I go to the bathroom, and puke my god damn guts out. And I mean, a lot. Jesus. Then as soon as I'm done puking? Diarrhea kicks in. And oh that is not pleasant. After going back and forth for some time I rinse out my mouth, feeling very sick, text my boss saying I won't be in till a little later tomorrow. I try going back to sleep.
Stomach cramps kick back in, and worse. Lay in bed 30 minutes unable to go back to sleep. Bathroom again. This time? I actually had such bad Diarrhea that it was as if my ass was vomiting violently, and at the same time I'm vomiting. There's nothing quiet like sitting on a toilet shitting a stream of liquid, AND vomiting at the same time into a garbage can.
This goes on, rinse and repeat until 7:30 am. I did not get a wink of sleep in that time frame. At some point I just flat out told my boss I can't work during lunch at all. I need to sleep.
So then I finally wake up, make my day down to work,
still plaguing me from time to time. I'm in a terrible state. Everyone looks at me and goes "Oh shit, why are you here?" My other night cook went home sick as well, and a few other people all got hit in the same night that i did with what I had. So after awhile of getting shit done, the Chef is trying to figure out how tonight is going to work with just 2 cooks. He doesn't feel well either..and after awhile just plain sends me home. Yeah, he sent me home and he was the only one cooking a 3 person line. I didn't want to go home, but he wouldn't let me stay.
That was at 4, I've been sleeping since.
So i commiserate with you. take it easy.
I hope that you get better soon, dear.
