isnt it completely uncomfortable when you talk to the type of person that really isnt listening anyway? You know the types. They ask questions about your life and how you're doing not because they care, but out of habit. The whole time you're talking they're just staring, blank with no reaction,off in their own little world. wrapped up in themselves. for instance:

GIRL AT WORK: Hey. How are you?

ME: Little tired. you?

GIRL: Oh yeah.

Or tonight. Lyric and I went out to dinner, (we called it a Dinner Date! Isnt that cute?!) to this place we used to go to before the storm. Well, the guy waiter automatically recognized Lyric and says:

Guy: Hey where ya been?!
Lyric: Oklahoma
Guy: What?
Me: Oklahoma
Guy: Did you evacuate?
Me: Yeah, we left and moved to Oklahoma, now we've moved back. Did you guys get any damage?
Guy (to Lyric): So where you been? What are you like 5 now?
Lyric: Oklahoma
Guy: What?

Luckily the conversation terminated itself after only a few more "what's."

In other news...

I GOT BUSY! YEAH YEAH. Last night I got some serious, "Baby, I LOOOOOVE YOU!" Kind of loving. Not to be too crass but, I'm at that point in the month when i can't just jump into bed and do some humping...he didnt care...he just got down to some "handy" business on my business and well...i love my boyfriend.
