Hey, chicky! Sorry we missed you this weekend. We were there but we weren't well. If my good friend Tony wasn't there meeting us, I would have stayed at home. We did go out but only for 2 or 3 hour stretches. The only thing I ate on my list was bbq shrimp. hmmm.

cause i was running late for the writers group and you had to go and get lyric and everything
i didnt wanna whip out the toal coolness
cause i get the feeling we could sit around and be cool together and giggle like school girls and shit for hours

we are exchanging stories over email
and we will probably schedule the meetings and stuff over that too
how about i put you on the email list
we are all sending each other stories or poems to read and comment on for the next meeting

its a good possibility i might get this writer communications mngr job in marigny - so i might look for apartments around there
and one part of me like living "in" the city in a more historic kinda looking place and closer to cool stuff

i also hate some of those old buildings and the parking situations and sometimes id just rather be lazy and jump in the car and get stuff - and i find that easier to do in the suburbs
so
there is a good possibility i might take the 1 bedroom apartment

A. Everyone but you seems to appreciate the artistry of it, and I'm afraid of nothing. At least in this one you can see something; when I shoot with the flash it's just white.

B. Maybe you're right about it not being something I should have, and I can't deny the hand shaking.

C. I actually would prefer her to end it first, cause then it'd be easier on her. She's in a bad place, emotionally, and if I break it off she'd do something drastic. That said, I was just in a bad mood when I wrote that. When I'm in a bad mood I want to break it off with everyone and everything, just so I don't have to deal with them.

C2. I should explain that it's my understanding that the last girl I broke it off with tried to kill herself. Hence my apprehension to follow my moody instincts in these cases.

I keep throwing mine in the trash...but i never seem to throw anything gross enough on top of them for me not to dig them out. (smoking one)

I totally understand. When I get this close to quitting, I start smoking only half of a cigarette and then putting it out in my "ashtray", which is full of candle wax (don't ask). Then, when the pack is gone, I go through my "ashtray" and pick out the good ones and clip off the waxy ends and smoke a cigarette that suddenly tastes very much like a scented candle. Shit, I don't lie; when I was younger and I was dying for a quick smoke, I'd pick 'em up off the street and shit. Course, back then I was just some dirty little poor white kid from the wrong side of the tracks with hair down to my shoulders and jeans so torn and patched up they were suddenly in style when all I was trying to do was not get sunburned knees and shit where the Levis had worn out.

All of them know...i have like 4 friends...i like that i only have a few friends. Its so hard to have many many many friends. Maybe just for me. I get annoyed with people quickly...You should not tell your girl...that way i can shamelessly flirt with you...

I actually don't have that many true friends, but a lot of acquanences. I, too, can't handle many people. Or they can't handle me? Either way, it's the same end result. I like the idea of the flirting, and the more I think about it, the more I realize I probably will drive up to her neck of the woods and break it off tomorrow. This shit is just getting too hard on me, only cause I seldom see the light at the end of the tunnel. I dunno, we'll see.

Yeah, only this was a pretty good day in the grand scheme of things. Don't worry, I am officially unquit. I picked up some menthols so I won't smoke as much, but the damage is done. Why doesn't Camel sell a true menthol?? I bet it would taste good (though the Turkish Royals or whatever the fuck they are aren't so bad).

Anyways, thanks for the journal entry. It definitely put a smile on my face when I needed it the most today.

i had a lazy sleeping weekend
about to stay up all night here - sunday -
and do some writing
then head to my office
work on a promotion piece for my uncles barge company
then i gotta pick up some copies of last weeks Louisiana Weekly because i have a front page article on there and have to drop off some copies to one of the girls i interviewd - while pressing her for another job -
and then im gonna work some more
but will likely give you a call at some point

Gen did my tattoo.. Only one more project to go.. A wonderful piece of art that is sitting in her house... I am going ot have to save my money to have it done soon
