So tonight is the show at Le Skratch. My third year in this comp. Manic Prosperity is playing tonight, though they are a shitty band they are nice guys. They use to be big supporters of us in Hydra and came out to a bunch of our shows. I always found it weird how the punks and metalheads always liked The Hydra when I always expected it to be the Prog rockers. Should be some cool people coming to the show tonight too, good ol Rich of Caution Inc. is coming down, I think Johanna (Ex. P-Riot) is coming down. Among others. Oh, my family decided they wanted to come, I somehow can't picture my mom standing next to Matt Stephen when he's drunk and yelling at us like he does at every show.
I'm nervous because the girl I'm crazy in love with is coming to the show. Ever since I told her how I feel about her it's been weird, she still acts the same but I go crazy because I've been trying like crazy to be with her for over a year now. I've had insomnia and a few anxiety attacks in the last month over this.
Yesterday, I was over at Ryans watching Oceans 11 before practice and he got a call on his cell phone and walked into the next room to answer it. When he came back he was like "The Red Bull girls are coming here." "oh?" "yeah, at 4" "crazy." So we called up a bunch of people and tried to get the rest of the band to hurry their asses up to meet the chicks. We got cameras ready and everything. They pulled up in their giant Red Bull truck and came out to the jam house. They were not what we expected, they looked like regular Le Skratch girls. Which, if you've ever been to Le Skratch you'll know that they're all butterfaces. So we played some songs for them and they made small talk and pretended to like them. We got some Red Bull, didn't bother taking pictures.
They certainly weren't suicide girls.
