Okay, i kept kinda quiet for a while but, last week my boyfriend did the cutest thing ever and took me to a lovely restaurant in soho, that we've been wanting to go to for a while. We had a lovely time and on our way back home he stopped outside centre point and gave me a little box with an absolutely beautiful ring in it. Now i just wana say, im not engaged 
. But, we've been together so long, and we've spoken about our feeling towards eachother and about the future and so this ring is just to show our commitment, in a non engagey way . Naturally i cried loads and loads and looked like an absolute fool.
I just don't understand, im not into the whole 'expensive, look at me' rings, and i've always had this ring in mind that my friend used to wear, which i think is such a beautiful shape. But i've never told him that, and he managed to get the exact one in mind.
Im so wary of wearing it incase it falls off or soemthing happens to it. Anyways, i felt really amazing, we're a couple who aren't into big impressive things, but the fact he did this for me was a total surprise and made me feel so special.

when it is the full day of no activity it is ok, yes a bit weird, but not that special, you want an "alien/signs" experience you have to be here on remembrance day and take the highway in the morning, then when the siren goes off and everybody stops their car and get out to stand in silence for about 2 minutes while the only thing you can hear is the siren that's really freaky... or being at the city square and see the same thing happening... things not to be missed on the trip here... really...
