I still haven't left yet.
My leave of absence goes into effect on December 3rd. Which is my last day of work. We leave on the 4th, finally.
I've spent about $3000 between my SUV and my Dad's car in the last week. Which is soon to be my car also. We're supposed to leave in 9 days and we STILL haven't packed... We haven't even finished cleaning.
Between work and more work, and fucking errands I haven't had time to pack. And no one else seems to want to.
I think I'm going to change my major to something easier, because while, I'd love to do biomedical engineering and then law school it doesn't look like a smart idea, because I'd never use the degree. But I think about this every few months, and I never actually change my major. So I probably won't.
I think somewhere in between achieving my bachelors degree and starting law school I'm going to take 6 months off and go to England, maybe work there for a while. Or just dick around.
I've kind of started to get ambitious about school, I want to graduate with my bachelors and then attend Oxford in the United Kingdom, my Mom laughed at me when I said that.
I'm not honestly sure if I'd come back to the US if I had the option to stay over there, because I like the rain, and the cold weather, and their accents (LOVE THEIR ACCENTS). Plus I'm a big Harry Potter nut (we've just gotten to the real reason I want to go to England, kidding
), and I like the idea of trains, and flats (which I know are just apartments, BUT I don't care), and the double buses, and I don't know, just the entire thing. I have to decide in the next year or so if I want to go, because I have to get my poor animals ready, and it takes quite a while for them to get ready.
On that note, I'm done. Everyone have a Happy Thanksgiving, and if you don't celebrate it just have a happy day!
