Time to update: loser.
jobless again. the tattoo shop i worked at & I couldn't resolve our differeneces. I'd like not to diss them outright but cannot and will not ever relinquish ownership of my artwork to a shop, nor will i let someone else dictate the style or location of tattoo *I* choose to have on my body. i am not offended by someone that doesn't trust me as an artist because i don't have enough tattoos .. let them go to someone else. there are plenty of people that have seen my work and enjoy it to keep me busy.
ofcourse, being the situation that my studio was located above where i worked and living there was predicated on my working at the shop leaves me doubly-fucked
back to being a free-agent (aka "scratcher") until i find another shop to work at. never fear kids; i know my own habits are cleaner than most shops... and screw the altruistic or legal bullshit; i don't want to get MYSELF sick
still planning to go to the burningman party at the end of summer and have included a few places to visit on my itinerary... austin, sanfran, and portland so far.. shops and friends..
also, think i might be going to arizona for a few weeks to work on some ppl, that should be fun.. i've never spent any significant time in arizona before. dunno if i'll have net access but i think it's a college town so i'm sure i'll find a way to get my fix
