So I just wanted to update my Tegan and Sara experience.

The day couldnt have gone any better. My girlfriend and I went up to phoenix early to spend the day and do a little shopping. We stopped at her parents house and picked up her sister. We went down to Mill Ave to hit the awesome new American Apperal!!!! While we were walking down the street we ran into Tegan! They were shopping with there mum. I think it is funny how every time they are in Phoenix they have to go to the Urban Outfitters. I dont know if they just never go to one in any other city or what but they associate Phoenix with going to urban outfitters! So I got to talk to them for a little while.

Then we went to my uncles resteraunt for diner. Awesome! I really love his resteraunt. It's a pretty fancy place. Then we headed to the show.

One of my friends drove up by herself. She got there pretty early and waited in line. She got as close up to the stage as she could get.
But when we got there we went to the merch table. Then we watched a little of the opening band. They were vey crazy, but I really liked them.
Then we decided to go back stage for a little while and talk with the girls. It was soooo nice to see them again. They were very talkative. I got to catch up on there lives since I saw them last. They also told me that they are probably going to take close to a year off, and then record the new album so it will release early next year. I am a little sad that I have to wait that long for a new cd, but i know exactly what they are talking about when they say that most people put out new records way too soon. And they do need a break. They have been going non stop for a long time now.
They even did a little bit of bickering!!! I had told my girlfriend about it but I didnt think she would ever really get to see it. So Im glad now someone else knows what i am talking about.

Then we went out to watch the show. We worked our way up to the very front where our friend was standing. It was awesome.
Tegan played my very very very favorite song. I wasnt really sure she would play it consitering it is a song that is not on any cd.
In my own head I am going to believe that she played that song just for me. (even though I know it is not true.) We talked about that song and she sent me a demo copy to listen to, so i will tell myself that she knew I wanted to hear that song!!!!!

Tegan told me that show was one of the best shows they played on that tour so I was really lucky. After wards we went back down stairs to say goodbye to the girls.
Then we drove back home.

Best day Ive had in a long time!!!!!!!!!!!
