Hey All!
It has been a long week already. I am studying very hard to take my next test. If I pass it I will officially be an MCSA!!! Just way too much studying. I hope it's all worth it.
Why is it that when someone passes on that you don't even really know you still get sad. Especially if it's someone on TV that you have seen and listened to for a long time. I felt that way a few weeks ago when Tim Russert died, and then again yesterday after I heard that Bobby Murcer died. I started crying each time. I felt like I knew them personally, but I never met them. I was so happy after the Yankees won, yes, I am a big Yankee fan, and then felt so sad when they announced his death right after the game. Seeing Joe Girardi cry made me cry. Even if you are not a Yankee fan, Bobby Murcer just seemed like a really nice guy.
Ok, onto cheerier things. Thanks again to all of you for your feedback and awesome comments on my sets. I am in discussions right now with a photographer to get some professional ones taken. I will still be taking some with Kelly, since she is my BFF! lol I was thinking about doing something of a tribute to Flux, but I'm not sure. I just loved her so much and I am not sure if I could hold a candle to her. I would love to do something awesome, but I don't want to make something that is inferior to her work. Ok, I'm a mook!
Oh, another thing! I borrowed a movie from my friend this week called "Rock n Roll High School", with the Ramones. It's almost 30 years old, and it is kind of dated, but it was so funny, and the music was totally awesome!!! The girl that starred in it was a cutie too! Her name is P.J. Soles. I remember her from "Stripes". She is much older now, but what a hottie she was then!!!
Here is a poem from a couple of years ago. Let me know if you like them and I will keep posting them, or if you don't, then I will stop. LOL
I hope everyone has an awesome week!
he is nice
he is sweet
you got a boyfriend?
he asks as our eyes meet
I look away
knowing what my words will do
"not my cup of tea,
my tea needs a little more rouge"
his eyes betray
the hurt then disgust
he turns away
under his breath comes a cuss
my eyes get misty
I want to scream
how dare you
I guess your just what you seem
I stumble back in
try to get to work
I hear Dyke! at my back
what a jerk
I turn around and nod, as cocky as can be
"you know it!"
breath, play it off..
I'll kill that piece of shit
I catch an eye
of a girl down the hall
she smirks at me
I've never noticed her at all
I gather my strength
this happens over weeks
I become out and proud
not at all meek
we meet by the copier
"accidently" bump into one another
her and I exchange numbers
through sparkling newfound eyes
now im thinking, thanks jackass
cause it pays to advertise

I love your poem

Everyone in baseball mourns Bobby Murcer passing not just yankee fans, he was universally beloved and a class act. Rock and Roll High school was so cheesy but brilliant. I got to sit in on an interview with Joey once.
