I couldn't find my phone earlier this weekend. And then I found it. When I took my clothes out of the dryer. In many pieces. Guess it's time to buy a new one. frown

The good part of my weekend was seeing some of the great folks from SGPhilly at the White Elephant party at Nyssa and Talin's. They threw a great party as always. There was much drinking and talking (mostly about WoW blush ).

Yeah, I reactivated my WoW account. I was going to hold out until the Burning Crusades expansion went live but I caved. The good part is that the installation of the patches prompted me to finally install an anti-virus program on my computer so now I'm not getting constant flash errors. Yay! biggrin

This wednesday I'm taking the A+ Cert test...again. Keep your fingers crossed that I pass this time. whatever

Well the reason it has so much weight is because a college education just shows that you passed all of the classes and graduated, a potential employer does not know exactly what classes you have taken and which you were good at. Plus there is no guarantee that you actually learned anything technical because so many colleges use varied classes to obtain the same degree and some technical schools are not acredited. Whereas having the cert shows that you knew enough to actual pass an industry standard exam that is specificly meant to test IT knowledge. I used to teach web design, networking, and computer hardware/software at a local college and I have seen first hand that some people can actually get a computer based degree and still not know anything about computers.
