Last year I discovered Kickstarter for me. In addition to the many technical ideas you can find there a lot of comics and games, too. I found a deck of playing card very interesting: Kingdoms of A New World.
The production took more time than estimated, which is rather normal in crowdfunding projects. The cards were then sent in the beginning of June. Due to a long postal strike here in Germany, the playing cards have arrived today finally.
