man, i just got hit by a tsunami size wave of melancholy. i've been putting off and putting off xmas shopping (and pretty much everything else in my life) and finally dragged myself into Marshalls to see if i could find anything. i think its the music that gets to me. or watching the Buckhead Betty's buying all this garbage that no one really wants. you know some poor daughter-in-law is getting that ugly picture frame that Helen or Patty or whatever her name is thinks is "fun" or "artistic".

i managed to pick up a few things that might work for people. but when i wandered to the front of the store to get the cart that i didnt think i'd need, i just chose to walk out instead. fuck it.

so then its 4pm and i'm in buckhead. i get to spend the next hour in traffic to get home. by the time i get to whole foods (where else would I go when I'm depressed?) i'm miserable. i buy about half the stuff i need to make fudge. (that's what you're getting this year, bitches. deal with it) and one of their crappy vegan chocolate chip cookies.

on the up side, i did buy more smartwater (instead of just refilling the bottles with filtered tap water) and some new, extra tough, chew toys for the pups. i'd post a pic of gecko and fin enjoying them but i loaned out the digital camera today.
