for the record, getting an IUD put in hurts way more than getting a tattoo. but doesn't take nearly as long so i guess that's the trade off.
one nice surprise was that my insurance covered the whole thing. so all you girls out there with decent health insurance, the cost is not an issue. i'll let you know if the cramps end up being awful.

I haven't heard anything about a diesel mini, tho' that'd be pretty cool. Other than big honkin' trux, I know you can get VWs, a Jeep Liberty (starting in early '05), and they're introducing (introduced?) a new Benz model. Like 40% of vehicles sold in Europe are diesel, and all the Japanese makers have them there. Since nobody in the the US buys them, tho', this is what we get.
The company I work for is pretty cool, actually. Once your busy-as-hell manager finally turns in your review/raise, they cut you a check for retro pay back to your anniversary date. Friggin' sweet. I'll prob'ly figger out some way to celebrate with that.
[Edit] The Liberty actually ships with 5% biodiesel in the tank. Eh, it's a start.
