that line of the song starts playing in my head whenever i realize a relationship is losing steam. rather, more honestly, whenever i realize my feelings are waning. i do feel love, it just seems to be in this ultimately flawed way. so whenever i extricate myself from that relationship, i vow not to get seriously involved again until i get it all sorted out. only to jump right into to something again because all those shiny new feelings convince me that THIS IS DIFFERENT.
but it never is. i keep trying, though, in my own sorry way.
