when you were a kid and your family would go to the ice cream shop, would you get one scoop or two? or were two scoops reserved for special occasions and good grades? would you mix flavors?
we were a single scoop family. and back then, single scoops were just that, one scoop. so no mixing of flavors. we went to baskin robbins (this was before there were premium ice cream shops. in fact, i think BR was the ONLY ice cream shop in atlanta then) and dad's favorite was mint chocolate chip. mom's was german chocolate cake (which was semi-seasonal so it wasnt always available). i remember liking both of those too. i dont remember what my standby choice was.
i had last weekend off from work. but i'm getting dragged back in this weekend. ow.
