i know, i know. i've been the worst at keeping up with people on this trip. hopefully i will get into a routine where i have regular internet access and i can start talking back to my friends.
so here's the scoop. i have a 3 month contract with a studio in Seattle. that's not only gets my foot in the door with a great group but also gets me through the no-hiring season of the holidays. when that contract is over, hopefully either they or someone else will offer me a job. i'm pretty confident that something will work out. its pretty good timing.
the downside of all of this good news is that i won't be coming/going back to atlanta until the contract is over. i will be getting in touch with all my amazing atlanta friends to console them. i need to get through a crazy busy week first. then we can cry on the phone together.
now i have to find somewhere to live. 4 months is too long to be a houseguest.
