i live in los angeles. not sure if that's good. but all the films play early. this one's at the egyptian, a great old movie theatre on sunset.
for me, bottle rocket is far and away the best. then rushmore a close second. tennebaums is way down there. my fingers are crossed too for aquatic.

grad students - we're always busy at not getting much done. 
woo hoo! just got home from a long day of drawing a naked boy. i didnt draw well today. i'm trying to not let it get me down. i have a bad habit of just doing the things i know i'm good at and avoiding the things i need to improve on.

not so much the boys thoughi dont check my snail mail very often. i live in a neighborhood where it is wise to have a locking mailbox so no one takes your stuff. consequently, it deters me from getting it out as well. but when i do, its like christmas. if your christmases included junk mail pouring out of your stockings. it draws a big fat line under the problem...

i have had lots of things to say about the 2000/2004/2008 elections. i've kept most of it to myself since (especially here) there are plenty of other people to say it who might even say it better. being in a red state i'm usually the only 'voice of reason' but here i can just sit back and let other smarty pants take over.
i especially like my orangina with vodka and cranberry juice. does that help?

so somewhere out there i have a blog that i can't seem to update on a regular basis. i suppose its silly of me to think i can maintain 2 of them. but i'm allowing myself to let this one be more stream of consciousness, day to day kiinda stuff.
